Reading Wednesday! Likes Exclamation Points

I finished The Princess Bride late last night, although I am still reading the addendum, "Buttercup's Baby." I enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed, in light of an inexplicable review of nihilistic_kid's The Last Weekend that I read yesterday, the fact that William Goldman, the abridger of The Princess Bride by S. Morgenstern with his son and famous psychiatrist (ex)wife, is not the William Goldman who is the actual author of The Princess Bride with his two daughters and different (ex)wife. I probably also enjoyed this aspect because of my general loathing for writerly-talking-about-myself or putting-myself-in-the-story-isms. It was a fun, light book that pleased my brain in a puzzle-boxy way.
